Air Quality Evaluation
Equipment used to Test for Chemicals in Air
We conduct on site air quality testing for Chemical and Biological (Mold) contaminants.
We can determine levels of common chemical
contaminants
for indoor environments, using state of the art equipment. We use
portable gas monitors that will measure, Oxygen, Carbon Monoxide,
Hydrogen
Sulphide and Combustible gases simultaneously. We can measure
levels
of other gas contaminates using gas measuring tubes that are specific
to
a particular contaminant.
We can also measure levels of airborne biological
contaminants, such as mold. We use a system where we collect a
sample
from a measured volume of air on an appropriate filter. The
filter
can then be analyzed for the presence of mold. This system
can also be used for the determination of air born solids such as
asbestos
or general dust.
